Senior Pastor

The Rev. Dr. David McDonald

Associate in Ministry

The Rev. Julie Overman

Rev. Julie Overman was ordained in the Southwest Association of the Wisconsin Conference of the United Church of Christ in 2002. A child of First Congregation UCC in Madison, and a grandchild of Windsor UCC, she went to seminary at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL, from 1997-2000, honoring her paternal grandfather's heritage as a Methodist minister. She became the seventh generation of that family to serve the church.

She has served churches in Virginia and Wisconsin: St. Stephen's UCC in Harrisonburg, VA, St. Paul's UCC and Mt. Calvary UCC in Woodstock, VA, Lake Edge UCC in Madison, Wisconsin, Reeseville UCC in Wisconsin, and now Windsor UCC.

She enjoys working with youth, worshiping in a variety of musical styles, and visiting elderly and homebound members and friends. She has led eight mission trips both inside and outside the U.S. She has three daughters, ages, 12, 10 and 10. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in music performance (flute). She also works part time for Madison Youth Choirs in administrative assistance. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her two dogs, shopping thrift stores, refinishing furniture and kayaking. Has been known to do garbage audits of churches. Occasionally breaks into song.

Pastor Emerita

The Rev. Dr. Martha Ann Baumer

After retiring from the faculty at Eden Seminary, Marti was elected our Pastor Emerita. She is a well-known figure in the United Church of Christ and formerly served as Conference Minister of the Illinois South Conference. Marti makes her home in Belleville, Illinois.

Director of Music

Mr. David Schipper

David earned a Master of Arts in Christian Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, and completed his undergraduate training at Saint Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota.

Director of Christian Education

Mrs. Jackie Zander

Jackie has served as our CE director for more than 20 years! Her devotion to the kids of the congregation is part of the strength of our program. She cares about our kids, and they know it!
